Shereen Mathew is pioneering new methods of talent mapping, matching and research.


Making big data easy to digest is a feat in itself. For Shereen, enabling businesses to harness past and future indicators to effectively map talent supply and ensure demand gets met is the real goal.


Starting her career in Marketing Communication with Singapore Airlines, Shereen laid the foundations for a career that has naturally led her to Employer Branding. With a passion for people, she moved into human resources and recruitment, working in Talent Resourcing and Learning & Development for global brands across different industries and organisations such as the InterContinental Hotels Group, Crown Resorts and Telstra.


Looking at the strategy and science behind talent acquisition, she has led various strategic sourcing assignments, tapping into passive talent using targeted sourcing techniques and channels. Her achievements include successfully sourcing niche and senior roles for Telstra and Crown Resorts, achieving significant cost savings. She has also partnered with the Telstra Graduate recruitment team, sourcing graduates from specialist fields and smashing diversity targets.


Now with a Masters in Human Resource Management, Shereen develops bespoke pieces of research and industry insights that support HR and Strategic Workforce Planning teams in their decision making and Recruitment needs.
